An advance pays you upfront against your collection's resale value. The percentage is the cash you can access, not the ownership you give away.

Does 80% mean you're buying my collection at a discount?
No. Up to 80% is the maximum upfront advance against an eligible item's verified market value. It is not a purchase price or a percentage of ownership. Your offer shows the amount, fees and term before you accept.
Who owns my items after I take an advance?
You retain ownership under the signed agreement while your items are in custody. If you choose to sell, the advance and agreed fees are deducted from the proceeds and the remaining balance is paid to you. Withdrawal and default are governed by your agreement.
Can I get my items back?
Yes, through the withdrawal process in your agreement. You settle the outstanding advance and applicable fees before items are released. The app shows your balance and deadlines. Failure to settle as agreed can result in sale or ownership transfer under the contract.
What can I submit?
Eligible graded sports and TCG cards, booster boxes, ETBs, booster bundles, cases and sealed packs. You can track raw cards in the app, but advances and consignment are for eligible graded or sealed items.
What does it cost?
Advances have a processing fee and monthly storage fees. Consignment has the agreed selling fees. You see the actual dollar amounts, payout and term in your offer before signing.
How does the free shipping work?
Grailz covers shipping and transit insurance for shipments valued over $20,000. Arrange your label with Grailz before sending your items so the shipment is set up with the correct insured value.
What happens if an item is lost or stolen in the vault?
Items stored in the Fanatics Collect vault are insured for their recorded insured value against covered losses, including theft, fire and water damage. Vault coverage begins once an item is received and valued, and follows Fanatics Collect's insurance terms and exclusions. Transit is covered separately under the shipment's insurance.
